Facts

You only get one set of eyes.

You only get one set of limbs.

You only get one set of everything.

1) Exercise:

Ya it’s a real thing! You have to take care of your body.

a. Workout: This will help your attitude, body, and people around you. You’ll start to feel more self-confident……. 3-4 Times per week, for a min of 30 mins. “We only start to recognize how important our health is when it starts to get stripped from us”

b. Moderate exercise has been found to boost the immune system of the body.

c. Warm up with 5-10 minutes of cardio. This can be done by running on the spot or for a lower impact warm up try doing alternating knee raises or alternating leg kicks.
Do 2-3 sets of each exercise doing 12-15 reps of each exercise.

2) Food:

Part of being fit and healthy is what you eat, and how much. The macronutrients provide energy and the raw materials your body needs to stay alive. The three macronutrients are fats, proteins and carbohydrates. Don’t eat until your body hates you, eat until you are satisfied, and remember: 8-minute rule – that’s the amount of time it takes for the brain to register that you are full, so eat slowly and wait for 8 minutes before you take a second helping.

Once your health starts getting stripped from you, only then do you begin to recognize how important your health actually was…..

It Pays to be Healthy: WHY?

  1. Because health care workers are not staffed to the appropriate levels needed to take care of your “unhealthy butts”, or give you the time you really need to be looked at… Sometimes, people are just trying to do the best they can.
  2. Healthcare workers are overworked and tired, which in turn, means they may not be on their best game!
  3. Being understaffed, and overworked, very rarely can they give you their best…. So it’s on you!
